MOTTISTONE CHURCH
The Church has seen many alterations since its origin
in the 12th century. Much of the visible architecture dates from
the 15th century. The screen in the cheke chapel was designed by
John Seely, 2nd Lord Mottistone, and errected in 1948 in memory
of his father.
Regular services are held in the church, and as part
of Mottistone estate, it attracts many visitors in the summer months.
Please pray for Mottistone Church, that it will continue
to welcome all who live in this district, as well as its many visitors.
Mottistone is located directly between the two parishes
of Brighstone and Brook.
